Huberta Chow specializes in structuring private investment funds and alternative arrangements across asset classes, including hedge funds, private equity funds, hybrid funds, fund-of-funds, and managed accounts. She designs legal structures and terms that align with client objectives, ensuring regulatory compliance while enabling long-term growth. She is recognized for her ability to develop practical, cost-effective solutions.
She played a pivotal role in developing Hong Kong’s domestic limited partnership regime for investment funds in Hong Kong and has been an advocate for sustainable investing, advising fund managers on integrating environmental and social governance (ESG) principles. She assisted major financial institutions such as Morgan Stanley and Asia Investment Capital, in launching and structuring Hong Kong-domiciled funds.
Huberta has been recognized as an “Associate to Watch” in Investment Funds by Chambers Asia Pacific and was nominated as a “Rising Star” in Corporate Law for the Women in Business Law Awards, APAC. She is qualified to practice in Hong Kong and England & Wales. She holds an LL.B. from the London School of Economics and completed her PCLL in Hong Kong. Before joining Broadfield, she spent over 15 years with the investment funds practice at a leading U.S. law firm.
