Misha Yang

Misha Yang is a Senior Managing Associate. She identifies clients’ legal concerns and provides turnkey work products customized for various stakeholders efficiently.

She is adept at advising capital allocators and private fund managers in pursuing and executing opportunities across various asset classes, including real assets, private equity, venture capital and private credit, on transactions ranging from primary fund launches, secondaries, revenue share arrangements, GP stake transactions, managed accounts and other bespoke fund products. She has also acted for portfolio companies and investors in technology, pharmaceutical and digital infrastructure sectors on financing and strategic matters in various structures across the capital stack and stage of the lifecycles, including private debt, minority and control equity investments, exit events in IPO, deSPAC, secondary transfers and trade sales, as well as other commercial arrangements for capitalizing assets, such as licensing, transfer/distribution, management and profit share contracts. Additionally, she assists clients in collaborating with other ecosystem participants to accomplish their business goals.

Misha is a native Mandarin speaker educated at Georgetown Law in Washington D.C., with a stint in a Silicon Valley startup before starting her legal career in Beijing. She gained extensive experience in the Hong Kong office of another leading international law firm before joining the Firm.
